We've been trying to improve our green thumbs lately and purchased an indoor houseplant. It was looking a little sad, so I put it outside for some sun. Later that day, I went outside to bring it back inside, but the plant had disappeared...
Plant located but appears to be deceased. 
The perpetrator returning to the scene of the crime. Case solved.
